SIA is proud to be recognized as one of this year's Louisville Business First's (LBF) Partners in Philanthropy to receive the Corporate Philanthropist Award*. This is a special annual recognition program spotlighting local businesses in the Greater Louisville Area and our donations to local non-profit organizations. SIA invests our time, treasure and talent in the areas of arts and culture, education, the environment and health and human services to make our community, country and world a better place and to further the missions of the organizations we support.
SIA was chosen as one of ten businesses in the Small Business Category, and we are particularly proud of the 355 hours of pro bono work hours completed by our 11 employees.
Honorees were recognized at an in-person luncheon Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Louisville Downtown Marriott that included a video montage of the winners answering specific questions regarding the giving of treasure, time and talent. * The award recognizes 30 local companies for their cash contributions to nonprofits and is limited to companies in the Louisville metropolitan statistical area of Jefferson, Bullitt, Henry, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble counties in Kentucky and Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Washington counties in Indiana. Companies are organized in categories by their annual revenues — small companies with less than $10 million in revenue; medium with $10 million to $49.9 million; and large with revenue greater than $50 million.The revenue category is for the local area. The list may include nonprofit organizations that are the philanthropic arms of companies. Other nonprofits or government entities are not included. The companies included pay no fee to be considered for the award.
